Kendall Elected 1st Vice-President of the New York State Association of County Clerks

Poughkeepsie… Bradford H. Kendall, Dutchess County Clerk, was recently elected to serve as 1st Vice-President of the New York State Association of County Clerks (NYSACC). He was unanimously selected by the association membership consisting of the 62 elected or appointed County Clerks in New York State. Kendall, who has served as County Clerk since 2006, previously held the role of 2nd and 3rd Vice-President. The term runs until February 2016.

The New York State Association of County Clerks’ (NYSACC) mission is to represent, educate and advocate for New York's county clerks in their service to the public. For over 75 years, the association has been committed to “promoting a standard of excellence in the service offered by the County Clerks of the State of New York.”

"I am truly honored to have been chosen by my colleagues to serve the role as 1st Vice-President. The association has continually been recognized for its work by ensuring that we have tools necessary to effectively serve our constituents. I attribute its successes to the partnership between the county clerks throughout the state. I look forward to the opportunity of continuing this fine example of collaboration and cooperation among my fellow clerks," stated Kendall.

Michael Jankowski, Wayne County Clerk and President of NYSACC said of Kendall’s appointment, “We are pleased to have Brad assume the role as 1st Vice-President. Throughout his tenure as County Clerk, he has successfully instituted programs in Dutchess such as the Renew Local First and the Dutchess County FAVOR (Find and Assist a Veteran of Record) ID Card. His leadership and tenacity has been duly recognized by our members and I am confident that he will be an effective delegate to the association members.”
