Dutchess County Executive William R. Steinhaus, as part of the County’s After Action Review of the recent snowstorms, has written to Central Hudson Gas & Electric President and CEO Steven Lant to extend his appreciation to all Central Hudson employees for their “tireless effort and work… working around the clock to make sure power was fully restored to thousands of residents.”
County Executive Steinhaus’ goal was to also set up a meeting to discuss how Central Hudson and Dutchess County Government can further partner together to strengthen communication, collaboration and responsive system for future situations.
Central Hudson’s Steven Lant was quick to reply, thanking Dutchess County Government for “responding so well when faced with this emergency” and for the assistance provided from the County’s “trained and committed personnel.” He looked forward to meeting to determine how to even better prepare for the next storm.
The meeting between County Executive Steinhaus and Central Hudson CEO and President Steven Lant is expected to take place in the next few weeks, with members of both organizations senior operational and management teams also participating.
