DCDOH Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinics Move to Appointment-based Scheduling

Poughkeepsie…  The Dutchess County Department of Health has announced all of their clinical services will be provided by appointment at their Poughkeepsie location on 387 Main Street.  Beginning April 15th, the Sexually Transmitted Disease Clinic will complete the Department’s transition to an appointment-based system, thereby improving the delivery of service to residents as well as significantly reducing wait times.

“With all of our clinical services now being available by appointment, we are able to better utilize our medical staff to meet our residents’ needs,” said Michael C. Caldwell, MD, MPH, Dutchess County Commissioner of Health.

The Department offers appointments Monday through Thursday from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm, except holidays.  Appointments can be made by calling 845-486-3535 or by emailing Clinics@DutchessNY.gov.

"We recognize the various needs of our residents and we are excited about these changes to be able to better serve Dutchess County,” said Caldwell.
