"The Anonymous People" - FREE Movie Screening Event at the Roosevelt Theaters in Hyde Park - May 21, 2015 at 7pm.  RSVP to mhadc@mhadutchess.org

The following agencies regularly hold events to raise substance abuse prevention awareness:

  •  Substance Abuse Prevention in Dutchess County

  •  Council on Addiction Prevention & Education

  •  DBCH Mental Health Services - committed to providing high quality patient care so all in need have access to prevention, treatment and rehabilitation services.

  • Dutchess Addiction Awareness, Prevention & Support - DutchessAAPS is an organization that hopes to create awareness as well as educate the community on the topic of, and related topics of addiction, as well as help implement drug prevention at an early age within the community, in addition to helping provide a support system to all members of the community who are affected by addiction. With more and more people affected daily by drug use and addiction, it is our hope to help spread awareness about the disease known as addiction, through local educational forums and meetings.

Community events, including Dutchess County Government Services are also available by visiting the calendar on the right-hand side of this page or by following the Department of Behavioral & Community Health Calendar link.
