Oldies 98.9, Dutchess Tourism Inc and Dutchess County Parks Present Summer Concert Series


Please be advised the concert scheduled for this Saturday, September 8th at Bowdoin Park has been POSTPONED until the summer of 2019. All ticket holders should look for an email from Fox Oldies in the next few days. Ticket purchasers will receive a refund from Showclix.


Concerts are $25 per show up through Friday, June 15th. Saturday, June 16th tickets will increase to $35 per show

You can purchase all (3) show block for $75 per ticket. There will be no price increase on this deal after Friday, June 15th.

All children under 12 are FREE with parent, guardian, caregiver present. No child under the age of 16 should be left unattended at the park.

Group Rates

Day of Show Tickets

Concert tickets will be available for purchase unless sold out prior. Tickets will be $35 at the gate.
Pre-registration is highly encouraged as we anticipate some of the concerts selling out.

Event Guidelines

  • Bowdoin Park closes to General Public by 3:00pm on Saturday, July 21st and Saturday, August 11th. Park will re-open to concert ticket holders at 5:00pm.
  • Bowdoin Park closes to General Public by 2:00pm on Saturday, September 8th . Park will re-open to concert ticket holders
     at 4:00pm.
  • Weather related postponements and cancellations will be posted to Fox Oldies 98.9, Dutchess Tourism  and Dutchess County Parks websites  and their social media feeds by 9:00AM on concert day- If steady rain/inclement weather is forecasted for the entire day  Rescheduled concerts will be the following day on Sunday. If rain is also forecasted for the Sunday, concert will be cancelled and a full refund will be given if event insurance was purchased.
  • The Oldies 98.9 Summer Concert Series is a first come, first serve general admission venue
  • Obey all traffic signs and safety/law personnel
  • No lining up on Sheafe Road before 3PM on concert days
  • Please be friendly and respectful all others in line


  • Parking is free. Please park in allocated concert parking areas and abide by all traffic signs on Sheafe Rd
  • Since space is limited, we encourage you to car pool, or take public transportation to Bowdoin Park 
  • To plan your route to Bowdoin Park using public transit, visit:
  • Dutchess Transit will provide shuttles to/from New Hamburg station for concerts beginning at 4:30PM View the shuttle schedule for all three concerts online (.pdf)
  • Train from Grand Central to New Hamburg gets in at 4:22PM

No Re-Entry

Once you have entered Bowdoin Park, we are encouraging minimal vehicle leaving/reentering. We do realize that emergencies arise and will make exceptions if needed. 

Things to Bring

  • Blankets, umbrellas, low-rise chairs, flashlight, sunscreen, sunglasses, hand warmers…
  • Dress appropriately for the weather gets cooler in the evening
  • NO pop-up tents

The Oldies 98.9 Summer Concert Series reserves the right to limit the number and size of blankets used by individuals or groups.

Restroom Facilities

ADA accessible bathrooms and portable restrooms will be located in the nearby pavilions and in designated areas.

Food and Beverage

  • Concessions will be located north of the bandstand
  • Alcoholic beverages (beer and wine) will be available for purchase inside the venue. (Must be 21 years and older, must show proof of age)
  • No outside coolers or beverages permitted during the concerts
  • No cooking or barbecues allowed

Bag Checks

All ticketholders will be subject to a bag check upon arrival. Do not leave any bag unattended.


All concerts cancellations will be decided in conjunction with Dutchess County Department of Emergency Response and promoter

Be prepared for extremes such as sun, heat, wind, cold, or rain. Dress accordingly, as the temperature may drop noticeably after sunset. Rain umbrellas are allowed. No beach umbrellas or canopies.


Medical will be provided by Medical Reserves Corp and Mobile Life Support Services Inc., First Aid and Medical will be located at pavilion 3. Medical floaters will also be roaming throughout the concert.


Safety will be provided by Dutchess County Department of Emergency Response, Dutchess County Sherriff’s, and Town of Poughkeepsie Police. Civil Air Patrol will be assisting with parking and traffic flow within the park.

Lost & Found

Lost and found items will be returned to the main park office at Bowdoin Park.

Disruptive & Improper Conduct

Participants are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly fashion and to refrain from conduct and language that would be offensive and/or disruptive to performers or other event participants. Participants who violate these rules may be ejected from the event.

Smoking & Vaping

Bowdoin Park is a non-smoking facility. No smoking or vaping is allowed on premises 

Mobility Impairments

  • Accessible parking and concert space for limited mobility ticketholders will be available west of pavilion 5 
  • There is no early entry for unloading and reloading
  • Handicap parking will be in well-marked designated areas
