The Swimming Lake and Boat Rentals will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the 2013 season. There is no entrance fee charged on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. All visitors including your pavilion guests will pay the entrance fee when the swimming lake is open. No outside firewood is permitted.

In June, July and August 9:00 am - 4:30pm. Campers should check in by 3pm. Park office is closed on Dutchess County observed holidays.

Wilcox Memorial Park, in the Town of Milan, tucked in northern Dutchess County is a delight to all who venture onto its 615 acres. Formerly the estate and farm of Mrs. Frederick P. Wilcox, its 18th century complex of farm buildings still stand today.
This family friendly park boasts not one but two lakes at it’s center! Relax as you fish from "upper" smaller lake shore or from a rented boat. Look for the park’s resident heron, one of many interesting birds in the park, as you go by in a rented paddle boat or row boat.
From Memorial Day till Labor Day enjoy the swimming lake and picnic grounds, see our swimming lake season schedule, the swimming lake is open Thursday - Monday starting mid June* from Memorial Day to Labor Day our sand beach is staffed with lifeguard facilities, a bathhouse and snack bar are located on the lower lake. Sorry , no fishing or boating allowed on main swimming lake - no outside boats or firewood is allowed.
With four covered pavilions, Wilcox Park is a popular place for company picnics, family reunions, birthday parties and other events. Pavilion C, set atop the hill overlooks the park and swimming beach it has kitchen facilities and attached bathrooms, designated parking.
All the pavilions are conveniently located – take your pick; want some privacy and a great game of horseshoes? Then Pavilion A is your spot; …a playground for the kids and a ball field for the team? Pavilion B is for you. If close proximity to the beach and boating is what you need then choose Pavilion D. Finally, Pavilion C… attached bathrooms, a kitchen and a picturesque view of the beach! Our 27-site family campground is open May through September.Reservations are made on-line, easy account set up and now credit card friendly payments are accepted! Scout groups love our group camping area; a rustic site reserved only for organized scout groups. This area is designated for scout groups only - Please call eiher park office the office at (845) 298-4601 or 758-6100 for more information.
A year-round attraction of this immaculately kept park is its 5+ miles of hiking trails with a scenic overlook of Stissing Mountain and the Catskills. In winter, enjoy cross-country skiing.

From Points South -
Via NYS Thruway / I87 (Cars, Buses, Trucks, Trailers):
NYS Thruway North to Exit 19 (Kingston). Take first right onto traffic circle then exit for Rte 28 and Rte 209. Follow signs for Kingston Rhinecliff Bridge take bridge across Hudson. At 2nd traffic light make a right onto Rte 9G. At 1st traffic light (intersection of 9 & 9G) make a right onto Rte 9 south. At the next light in the center of Rhinebeck (Beekman Arms is on right corner) make a left onto Route 308 (W. Market St). Continue on 308 (approx. 6 miles) until Rock City where it becomes Route 199. Travel approximately another 5 miles on Route 199 until you see the signs for Wilcox Park entrance on the right.
Via Taconic State Parkway (Cars only):
Take the Taconic State Parkway NORTH to the Route 199 Red Hook/Pine Plains exit (mile marker 67.7.) Make a right off the exit onto Route 199 East. Travel 1 mile to the Wilcox Park entrance on your right.
From Points North -
