The role of the administrative team is to direct the many Computer Information Services and Central Services activities as one cohesive organization. With an ever-changing landscape in the computer industry and a growing need for central services, we keep an eye on the future to set a proper direction for the County.

 

Some primary activities include:

  • Oversee all activities and operations of the County computer center.

  • Managing county Bids and requests for proposals (RFP), 

  • Managing and negotiating shared services with municipalities

  • Administering our budget

  • Revenue tracking

  • Administering numerous active contracts and maintenance agreements.

Most importantly, OCIS management always keeps in mind that our department’s role is as a service organization to County agencies, municipalities, and the public. This mission is what guides all our activities.
