Partnership for Manageable Growth Program (PMG)

Created in 1999, the Partnership for Manageable Growth helps protect important agricultural and open space resources. The program provides a locally funded match for land preservation purchase up to 50% of the total project cost. Since its inception, the program has helped protect over 3,800 acres of farmland and open space in Dutchess County, with an additional 457 acres to be protected on three farms pending approvals.

2018 Funding Opportunity
Applications for funding are now being accepted. This solicitation is being made in anticipation of 2018 funding of approximately $1 million. Applications will be accepted for 1) Open Space/Farmland Protection Grants or for 2) Water and Wastewater Facility Development Grants. Applications must be submitted on or before 4:00PM December 15, 2017.
