Two car collision in Hyde Park results in arrests

On December 12, 2014 at approximately 8:20pm, Deputy Sheriffs responded to South Quaker Lane in the Town of Hyde Park for a reported automobile accident with injuries that had occurred.

Investigation revealed that Donna Jo Robinson (age 22) of Hyde Park was operating a 2004 Hyundai in a Southerly direction on South Quaker Lane when her vehicle crossed over into the other lane. Robinson’s vehicle then struck a 1993 Toyota being operated by Casey P. Evans (age 37) of Salt Point.  Robinson and Evans, along with his wife Stacey Evans (age 47) who was a passenger in her husband’s vehicle were all transported to Mid Hudson Regional Hospital for treatment.

Investigation continued at the Hospital, and ultimately resulted in the arrest of Donna Jo Robinson for Vehicular Assault in the Second Degree, a felony, as well as Driving While Intoxicated, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the second degree which are both misdemeanors.  Robinson was treated for minor injuries and released.  She is to appear in the Town of Hyde Park Court on 12/16/2014.

Additionally, Casey Evans was charged with Felony DWI (prior conviction for DWI within ten years, conviction on 12/17/2009).  Evans refused medical treatment at the hospital.  Evans is to appear in the Town of Hyde Park Court on 01/13/2014.

Stacey Evans was treated for multiple non-life threatening injuries, and was transferred to Westchester Medical Center for further treatment.
