STEINHAUS SUPPORTS PROJECTS IN POUGHKEEPSIE
Poughkeepsie.....Dutchess County Executive William R. Steinhaus has given his full support and endorsement to four separate grant requests for projects located in the City of Poughkeepsie.
“I am very pleased to give my endorsement for requests of the Dutchess County Historical Society, the Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum, Mayor Lafuente and Poughkeepsie City government, and the Bardavon 1869 Opera House as each of these entities seeks funding for projects designed to sustain and enhance the cultural and economic revitalization of Poughkeepsie,” said County Executive Steinhaus. “As local municipalities and our treasured cultural and historical institutions commit resources and time to improve their properties, programs, and assets, all of Dutchess County benefits.”
Recent project requests supported by County Executive Steinhaus include:
- Dutchess County Historical Society – grant applications to make
necessary structural improvements to the historic Clinton House on Main
