Please be advised Dutchess County Public Transit will be adjusting several routes (A, B, C, D, E, F, H, K, and Sunday routes F, H and L) based on the results of an extensive route efficiency analysis that found several of our routes were under- utilized and inefficient, particularly in the early morning or late evening.
Specific route changes can be reviewed online. Modifications include removal of select early morning and late evening trips that average less than two riders as well as changes to Sunday service.
These changes should have minimal impact on bus passengers, while making service more efficient and saving taxpayers more than $233,000 annually.
We will be hosting two public outreach meetings to discuss the schedule adjustments and answer questions from riders about route alternatives as needed. You can also call 845-473-8424.
Additionally, route changes will be posted on all buses and there will be service alerts on our Dutchess Tracker app.
