Poughkeepsie… The Dutchess County Justice and Transition Center’s (DCJTC) External Advisory Group will meet on Tuesday, March 3rd at 6:30 p.m. in the Dutchess County Legislative Chambers, located on the 6th floor of the County Office Building (22 Market Street) in Poughkeepsie to receive updates on the DCJTC project. The meeting is open to the public.
The External Advisory Group (EAG) meetings are designed to keep the public informed about the variety of topics related to the development of Dutchess County’s Justice & Transition Center project. The agenda for the March 3rd meeting will include updates on the installation of temporary housing units, also known as PODS, DCJTC needs analysis results, Special Populations Workgroup and the newly created Criminal Justice Council Diversion Committee.
Questions submitted at the January 29th meeting of the EAG will be addressed. The public can submit written questions at the meeting, those questions will be addressed after via email, at future meetings of the External Advisory Group, and/or on the Dutchess County Justice & Transition Center project web pages.
