Dutchess County Executive William R. Steinhaus today announced the schedule for four public informational meetings to be held for the Dutchess Rail Trail in the month of February. These meetings will officially kick-off the creation of the Dutchess Rail Trail, an 11.8 mile multi-use linear park running through the middle of the County.

“These meetings are intended to provide the public with information about the Dutchess Rail Trail project, but more importantly, we want to hear from you. What ideas do local residents and rail trail enthusiasts have to offer for this premier trail,” stated the County Executive.

Listed below are the dates, times and locations for informational meetings being held in the four towns that will contain the trail.
