Poughkeepsie… Dutchess County Executive William R. Steinhaus and Commissioner of Personnel Earl Bruno Jr. hosted the Tenth Annual Employee Recognition Awards Ceremony today at Dutchess Community College. More than 230 Dutchess County employees were recognized in appreciation for their many years of service. Awards were presented for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service. County Executive Steinhaus was joined by District Attorney William Grady and County Clerk Brad Kendall in addition to department heads to honor the employees.
“Dutchess County Government is truly fortunate to have so many dedicated public servants working to serve the residents of our county,” said County Executive Steinhaus. “Our Employee Recognition Award Ceremony is a great time to stop and say ‘THANK YOU’ to all of you who help to make Dutchess County a wonderful place to live and work.”
According to Personnel Commissioner Earl Bruno, more than half of the county’s employees have worked for Dutchess County Government for 10 years or more.
“We thank you for choosing to serve your neighbors and your community through the work you do as a member of Dutchess County Government,” concluded County Executive Steinhaus.
