Poughkeepsie…County Executive William R. Steinhaus has directed all Dutchess County Government facility flags to be lowered to half staff tomorrow in observance of Patriot Day.  September 11th has been designated by Congress and proclaimed by President George W. Bush to be observed as “Patriot Day” each year to honor the innocent Americans and people from around the world who lost their lives as a result of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

“Let us never forget the tragic loss our country endured on September 11, 2001,”said County Executive Steinhaus.
