Poughkeepsie…Dutchess County Executive William R. Steinhaus and County Parks Director Steve Olsen are pleased to welcome all of the families who will be taking part in K104 radio station’s Camp K this Saturday, July 18th from 12pm to 4pm at Dutchess County’s Bowdoin Park in the Town of Poughkeepsie. Camp K is a FREE, one day outdoor camp for the entire family. The event will feature camps, contests, sports clinics, art and crafts, jumpy castles, healthy food and beverages and more.
“This is another great example of family friendly events happening all summer long at Bowdoin Park,” said County Executive Steinhaus. “This event is perfect for families who want to get outside and play and the free price just can’t be beat!”
K104’s website promotes the event as a great way for families to get active and enjoy a fun day at the park. An inflatable fun zone from Party Time Rentals will be open throughout the day. Arts and crafts will be provided by the Dutchess Arts Camp. There will also be family games and competitions.
Camp K will also feature FREE sports clinics presented by favorite teams including the New York Redbulls, the Hudson Valley Renegades and the Hudson Valley Quick Strike Lady Blues. Clinics are available on a first come, first join basis, so families should plan to register early.
