    • Steinhaus Orders County Facility Flags Set at Half Mast to Honor Dutchess County Volunteer Firefighter

    • Poughkeepsie… County Executive William R. Steinhaus has directed that all Dutchess County Government facility flags shall be set at half mast to honor Vince Iaccino, Captain of the Roosevelt Fire Department’s Emergency Service Squad, who died in the Line of Duty while training with the Roosevelt Fire Department last evening at the Dutchess County Fire Training Center on Creek Road in the Town of Hyde Park.

“Our prayers and condolences are with the family of Vince Iaccino,” stated County Executive Steinhaus.   “We will always be grateful for his volunteer service to our community.”

Flags will remain at half mast until his funeral service has concluded.   Funeral plans have not yet been finalized.
