"Aging In Place" organizations are non-profit groups designed to help older adults continue living independently in their own homes as they grow older by making available the social support, health care, transportation and home maintenance services they require to live happy, productive lives in the community.

Rebuilding Together Dutchess County (RTDC) provides no-cost home repairs for income-qualifying homeowners in Dutchess County. Services include safety and accessibility modifications and larger, critical repairs necessary to maintain a safe and healthy living environment. RTDC is funded, in part, from federal and local grants, community support, and donated volunteer labor and supplies. There is never a cost to eligible homeowners.
