Aging in Place Organizations

"Aging In Place" organizations are non-profit groups designed to help older adults continue living independently in their own homes as they grow older by making available the social support, health care, transportation and home maintenance services they require to live happy, productive lives in the community.

Habitat for Humanity's Aging in Place Program includes exterior home preservation, and critical interior/exterior home repairs. Click here for further information and eligibility details, or call 845-297-0806.

Rebuilding Together Hudson Valley (RTHV) provides no-cost home repairs for income-qualifying homeowners in Dutchess County. Services include safety and accessibility modifications and larger, critical repairs necessary to maintain a safe and healthy living environment. RTHV is funded, in part, from federal and local grants, community support, and donated volunteer labor and supplies. There is never a cost to eligible homeowners. For full program descriptions, basic eligibility requirements and applications, please visit the Rebuilding Together Hudson Valley website.
