Funding Opportunities

Our Department administers several county and federal grant programs. In 2018, nearly $10 million in grants were awarded to local municipalities, nonprofit organizations, developers and senior citizens to address an array of community needs, including:

  • Affordable housing;
  • Infrastructure improvements including handicapped accessibility;
  • Social services;
  • Job creation;
  • Housing rehabilitation for lower income senior citizens;
  • Transportation;
  • Open space & farmland protection; and
  • Shared service opportunities.

Each grant program has specific eligibility requirements, funding guidelines, and application timelines.
