All Park Naturalist programs have been postponed at this time due to the implementation of the social distancing policy. Please email us at email@example.com if you would like to be added to our program mailing list. We will be keeping everyone updated regarding changes to our programs and offering information about future program opportunities.
Most all Dutchess County Parks remain open during the COVID-19 health situation for outdoor, non-group activities.
While enjoying our parks, please practice safe social distancing.
Quiet Cove Riverfront Park and the Lake Walton Preserve will remain closed to visitors until further notice.
There will be no facility rentals at our parks through April 30. If you currently have a rental scheduled, you will be contacted by our Parks Division staff or feel free to call the Parks office at 845-298-4600.
Facility reservations for May and beyond can be made through the Parks online reservation system, following the user account guidelines, calling the Parks office or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. If your reservation needs to be cancelled or changed due to Coronavirus/COVID-19, our staff will contact you at least two weeks prior to your reservation. Full refunds will be offered.
We thank you for your continued interest in Dutchess County Parks!
A primary goal of all county services is the enhancement of the quality of life for all county residents, and the Parks Division accomplishes this by operating six active facilities: Bowdoin Park, Wilcox Memorial Park, Quiet Cove Riverfront Park, the Harlem Valley Rail Trail, William R. Steinhaus Dutchess Rail Trail, and Dutchess Stadium.
A wide variety of activities and educational programs are conducted at these facilities including swimming, boating, picnicking, hiking, camping, miniature golf, 27 hole disc golf, pavilion rentals, playgrounds, splash pad, and athletic fields as well as community events.
