Many of our Dutchess County Parks are open and operating with some restrictions. Under active NYS PHASE guidelines and mandates we have occupancy limitations in place for many of our rental facilities to maintain social distancing practices. We encourage everyone to wear your face mask whenever you cannot maintain a 6ft distance with others, please continue to follow CDC guidelines, wash your hands regularly and follow social distancing practices. Our priority is to keep our park visitors and staff healthy. We appreciate your support.
The primary goal for Dutchess County Parks is to enhance the quality of life for all county residents by providing safe and supportive county services. The Parks Division accomplishes this by operating six active facilities: Bowdoin Park, Wilcox Memorial Park, Quiet Cove Riverfront Park, the Harlem Valley Rail Trail, William R. Steinhaus Dutchess Rail Trail, and Dutchess Stadium.A wide variety of activities and educational programs are conducted at these facilities including swimming, boating, picnicking, hiking, camping, miniature golf, 27 hole disc golf, pavilion rentals, playgrounds, splash pad, and athletic fields as well as community events. Facility reservations for available dates and locations is updated regularly, at this time there is limited availability. Paperless payment by credit card only please. Please explore our Parks online reservation system, any guidelines which may impact a future reservation will be shared with you so you can plan accordingly. To make a reservation online please follow the user account guidelines, reservations by phone are with credit card only. If your reservation needs to be cancelled or changed due to Coronavirus/COVID-19, our staff will contact you at least two weeks prior to your reservation. Full refunds will be offered.
