The 2020 Dutchess County Budget was adopted on Thursday, December 5th in a 22-2 bipartisan vote by the Dutchess County Legislature. The 2020 budget provides taxpayers with a 6th consecutive tax levy cut and a fifth consecutive tax rate reduction, while maintaining the County’s fiscal stability with no reduction in services.
