Poughkeepsie, N.Y. – The Dutchess County Comptroller’s Office has released their special report of the 2024 Indirect Cost Allocation Plan (ICAP). This plan is used by the Department of Community and Family Services (DCFS) to claim federal reimbursement of indirect costs for associated programs. The ICAP has been completed following the release of the Maintenance in Lieu of Rent (MLR) report in August 2025. The information provided in the MLR allows the Comptroller’s Office to verify the information used in the preparation of the ICAP.
Based on 2024 percentages, anticipated revenue due to Dutchess County DCFS in 2026 is approximately $1,143,046. Actual revenue received in 2024 was $1,306,857, a decrease of $224,519 over 2023 revenue.
