Poughkeepsie, N.Y. – The Dutchess County Comptroller’s Office has released their Q1 Special Update Report on the ARP federal funding, the “Dutchess Invests” spending plan, and actual expenditures/obligations of the County as of March 31, 2023. The County has received a total of $57,148,397 in ARP funds and has since spent $21,425,395, of which $1,837,882 was spent in the 1st quarter.
The five largest expenditures from Q1 were for: (1) County Payroll and Benefits – $621,479; (2) Demolition of the Youth Opportunity Center – $213,102; (3) Architectural services for gallery space at the Trolley Barn as part of the Agency Partner Grant (APG) – $180,846; (4) the Behavioral Health RV – $150,000, and (5) the Town of Milan baseball field as part of the Municipal Investment Grant (MIG) – $70,000.
While there have been no changes to the budget or expense categories in the 1st quarter, the Comptroller’s Office did note pending budgetary revisions pertaining to the 26 Oakley Street location for emergency housing. Our office will report on the pending change in our future reports.
