Dutchess County Comptroller Robin Lois Releases First Ever Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR)

For the first time in the County’s history, the Dutchess County Comptroller’s Office has released a Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) for the year ended 2022. PAFR’s are often released as a means of providing taxpayers with interesting, digestible information about the financial state of the County. PAFR’s are also likely to include various historical, demographic, geographic, and other data unique to the County.

“I’m excited to release the County’s first report of this type,” said Comptroller Lois. “Providing taxpayers with objective and interesting information about the County where they live and work has always been a goal of mine as Comptroller.”

The Comptroller’s Office also included photographs from community members after requests were made for photos from around the County. The Comptroller’s Office is grateful to have been able to use photos sent by Franc Palaia, Bonnie Auchincloss, Maxine Kamin, and Judy Winter. The completion of this report would not have been possible without the assistance of various Departments, but especially the department of Finance, who provided both crucial data and feedback.
