POUGHKEEPSIE, NEW YORK: Dutchess County Clerk Bradford H. Kendall has announced that effective March 23, 2020 through April 3, 2020, the Beacon and Millbrook offices of the Dutchess County Department of Motor Vehicles are closed. The Pawling Department of Motor Vehicles will also remain closed during this time. These closures are in response to COVID-19 and further determination whether to open or remain closed will continue to be reevaluated.
The Poughkeepsie and Wappingers Department of Motor Vehicle offices will remain open under the current restrictions to wit:
This action is taken in accordance with the Governor’s directive to reduce staffing. As such, staffing at the Poughkeepsie and Wappinger offices will be reduced.
