Poughkeepsie…Dutchess County Executive Marcus J. Molinaro has announced Hollow Road (CR 14) in the Town of Clinton has been re-opened to traffic between Route 9G and N. Quaker Lane (CR 16). The roadway was closed July 31st as the result of a culvert collapse.

Dutchess County Department of Public Works highway and bridge staff were able to successfully install a new culvert and repave the road. Hollow Road is averages 3,300 vehicles a day and is heavily traveled during the Dutchess County Fair.

“Thanks to the hard work of our highway and bridge crews, we were able to get this job done quickly, ensuring motorist safety and keeping a popular Fair route accessible for Dutchess County Fair visitors,” said County Executive Molinaro.
