Online Auction Underway for Surplus County Vehicles & Equipment

Poughkeepsie...Over 50 vehicles and equipment items are currently available for online bid during Dutchess County’s Surplus Vehicle & Equipment Auction, being conducted online at   Vehicles include police vehicles, passenger vehicles, pickups, dump trucks, a bus, a trolley and an electric utility vehicle.  Equipment items available for bid include backpack leaf blowers plus much more.   The online auction is underway now through September 23rd at 8pm.

Vehicles and equipment can be previewed at the Dutchess County Auto Center located at 570 Salt Point Turnpike in Poughkeepsie on September 19, 22 and 23 from 8AM to 2PM.  Start-up will only be on September 23 from 1-3PM.

The auction is conducted by Absolute Auction & Realty, Inc.   Bidders must register with Absolute Auction at and select Dutchess County Surplus Vehicle & Equipment Auction.  All items are sold “as-is.”  All lots must be paid in full before picking up. Vehicles must be paid for by cash, bank check, or pre-approved check. Non-vehicles can be paid for by PayPal, MC, Visa, Discover, cash or good check.   There will be a 10% Buyer’s Premium for cash or check and 13.5% for PayPal or credit card.  Payment must be made by 3PM on September 25 at the Absolute Auction Center in Pleasant Valley.   Winning bidders must pick up their vehicles and equipment at the Auto Center no later than 3PM on Friday, October 3rd..
