Poughkeepsie… The Dutchess County Department of Emergency Response (DCER) is reporting Verizon Wireless customers currently cannot connect with Dutchess County 911 dispatch. Verizon Wireless customers who need to report an emergency in Dutchess County should call 845-486-6560 to be connected with the Dutchess County 911 dispatch center.
Verizon Wireless is working to resolve the problem. DCER was notified of the issue earlier this morning. The Wireless Phone Outage is impacting 911 dispatch centers throughout the Mid Hudson Valley area.
