Poughkeepsie… Come take a wintry walk and enjoy the beauty of the season at Dutchess County’s Bowdoin Park this Sunday, February 17th at 2pm. Join Park Naturalist David Beck in a mile long walk around the park and look for signs of animals in the snow, discuss the changes that spring will bring and learn how to be more aware of natural surroundings.
Participants will meet at Bowdoin Park’s Education Center at 2pm. The walk is expected to last about two hours and will include snow covered areas, so appropriate footwear and clothing should be worn.
Bowdoin Park is located at 85 Sheafe Road in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
