County Executive Molinaro to Join Women Leaders of Dutchess County Government for International Women’s Day at Walkway Over the Hudson

International Women’s Day is Friday, March 8th, a day designated to raise awareness about  women’s issues and highlight women’s accomplishments. Dutchess County Executive Marcus J. Molinaro, along with many of the female department and division leaders of Dutchess County Government, will join the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce for the International Women’s Day celebration at the Walkway Over the Hudson beginning at 2:30pm.   The event will include inspirational speeches, an opportunity to share stories and will conclude with a walk together across the Walkway Over the Hudson.

County Executive Molinaro noted, “International Women’s Day is an ideal way to celebrate the accomplishments of women in our community.   I look forward to walking with the women who are leading many of our county departments and divisions and helping us to transform county government to better serve our residents here in Dutchess County.”
