Poughkeepsie, NY… Dutchess County Executive Marcus J. Molinaro encourages representatives from Dutchess County businesses, educational institutions, not-for-profits and local governments to participate in an upcoming training workshop to learn more about applying for state funding through the Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) process. The CFA is a single application for accessing millions of dollars from multiple funding sources from New York State.
The CFA Training Workshop, hosted by Dutchess County in partnership with the Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council and Empire State Development Corporation, will be held on Monday, April 22nd from 12:30pm to 2:00pm at Madava Farm, the home of Crown Maple Syrup located at 47 McCourt Road in Dover Plains.
County Executive Molinaro said, “Our Deputy Commissioner for Strategic Planning and Development, Ron Hicks, a member of the Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council, is once again working on identifying transformative projects throughout the county. We want to build on the success of last year when the Mid Hudson Regional Economic Development Council won the state’s ‘Best Plan’ award. We will continue to work directly with applicants to ensure they are as well prepared as possible and we can continue to bring the maximum amount of state funding to Dutchess County.”
Last year, Dutchess County’s efforts to assist and coordinate CFA applicants helped the Mid Hudson Regional Economic Development Council secure over $92 million in project funding, with the “Best Plan” award from New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo.
