Weather to Delay Reopening of Public Parking Lot Next to County Office Building until Wednesday 5/29

Poughkeepsie…The Dutchess County Department of Public Works has announced that inclement weather has delayed the paving and striping project that is underway at the public parking lot located next to the Dutchess County Office Building on Market Street. The lot will remain closed on Tuesday, May 28th for the completion of the project. The parking lot is expected to reopen on Wednesday, May 29th.

The public is encouraged to use alternative City of Poughkeepsie parking lots including the following locations:

• Liberty Street parking lot A
• Academy Street parking lot
• Crannell Street parking lot
• Duro parking lot, located at the corner of Main Street and the Arterial
• Civic Center Plaza parking garage
