Weight Restriction in Effect for Linden Avenue Bridge in Red Hook

Poughkeepsie… The Dutchess County Department of Public Works has announced a vehicle weight limit restriction has been put in place on the Linden Avenue Bridge over the Saw Kill Creek in the Town of Red Hook, following a routine inspection.   The allowable load has been reduced to a three ton maximum load. Buses and vehicles larger than passenger cars will not be permitted to use the bridge until further notice.

The weight restriction has been posted and larger vehicles above three tons are being detoured via Route 9 or Route 9G.
