Poughkeepsie…On Wednesday, September 25th, 2013, City of Beacon Mayor Randy Casale will welcome Dutchess County Executive Marcus J. Molinaro to Beacon High School for a town hall forum at 6:30pm to discuss the 2014 County Budget. County Executive Molinaro will discuss Dutchess County Government’s current fiscal position as well as the development of the 2014 county budget. County Executive Molinaro welcomes questions and feedback from residents regarding the budget development as well as other county issues.
The forum is open to the public and all are welcome to attend. County Executive Molinaro will be joined by City of Beacon’s Dutchess County Legislator John Forman. The budget forum will follow a presentation from the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance regarding STAR tax exemption registration update process that begins at 6pm. Beacon High School is located at 101 Matteawan Road in the City of Beacon.
