Public Parking Lot Next to County Office Building Closed

Poughkeepsie…The Dutchess County Department of Public Works has announced the public parking lot located next to the Dutchess County Office Building on Market Street in Poughkeepsie is closed as work begins on the demolition of the structures at 28 and 44 Market Street.The parking lot will be closed for the balance of the year and is expected to reopen in January, 2013.

The public is encouraged to use alternative City of Poughkeepsie parking lots including the following locations:

• Liberty Street parking lot
• Academy Street parking lot
• Crannell Street parking lot
• Duro parking lot, located at the corner of Main Street and the Arterial
• Civic Center Plaza parking garage
