Veterans Day Events 2012

Poughkeepsie… Veterans Day is Sunday, November 11th.    Dutchess County Executive Marcus J. Molinaro and Division of Veterans’ Services Director Nelson Eddy Rivera, USN (Ret) encourage Dutchess County residents to celebrate local veterans by participating in one or more of the numerous Veterans Day events planned across the county.   Veterans Day is a national holiday intended to be a celebration to honor America's veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.
