County Executive Molinaro to Present Overview of 2013 Tentative Budget in Millerton

Poughkeepsie…On Wednesday, December 5th, 2012, the Harlem Valley Chamber of Commerce will welcome Dutchess County Executive Marcus J. Molinaro to The Moviehouse in Millerton at 5:30pm. County Executive Molinaro will provide an overview of his 2013 Tentative Budget and welcome questions and feedback from residents.

County Executive Molinaro will outline the major components of his Tentative Budget proposal including:

• Reorganization and Consolidations of County Departments
• Major Initiatives including the Resource Recovery Agency and Inmate Housing Out Policy
• Economic Benefit and Shared Services including:

- Sales Tax Distribution Change
- Competitive municipal grant program to incentivize consolidation and redundancy of services
- Agency Grant Program, a competitive grant program for non-profits agencies

• Workforce Reduction
• Multi-Year Approach to problem solving and transformation of county government
