POUGHKEEPSIE, NY … Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino invites residents of all abilities, along with their families, caregivers and support organizations, to enjoy a free, sensory-friendly screening of “Minions & Monsters” on Saturday, July 11 at Lyceum Cinemas, 15 Old Farm Road in Red Hook. The movie begins at 10 a.m.; doors open at 9 a.m. Advance registration is required and can be completed online at dutchessny.gov/minions2026.

This special movie screening gives our neighbors of all abilities the chance to enjoy a fun movie with family and friends in a setting designed to meet a variety of sensory needs. The event is part of Dutchess County’s ThinkDIFFERENTLY initiative, which promotes accessibility, inclusion and opportunities for residents of every ability. To create a more comfortable theater experience, auditorium lights will remain partially raised, and sound levels will be lowered throughout the screening.
Concessions will be available for purchase at the theater. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
