Poughkeepsie…The Dutchess County Department of Public Works (DPW) has announced work to replace Bridge R-8 on Mill Road in the Town of Rhinebeck is complete and the road reopened to traffic.
Project work, which began in the spring, included replacing the existing bridge, located over the Landsman Kill near Daz Lane, with a new, wider structure that includes three-foot shoulders to improve the safety of the roadway for motorists. An average of 321 vehicles traverse Mill Road, daily.
