Poughkeepsie…The Dutchess County Department of Public Works (DPW) has announced the replacement of a bridge on Stanford Road in the Village of Millbrook and Town of Washington is complete and the structure reopened to traffic.
Project work, which began in the spring, included replacing the structure, located over the East Branch Wappinger Creek near Dineen Road, with a new, wider bridge that includes four-foot shoulders. The project was completed on time and within budget.
This section of Stanford Road averages approximately 725 vehicles per day.
