County Executive Sue Serino to Host “Senior Mobile Office Hours”

What: ‘Senior Mobile Office Hours’ at Local Senior Friendship Centers

Where/When: Thursday, July 18th at the Poughkeepsie Center 10am-12pm
                         Mon, July 22nd, at the East Fishkill Center from 11am-1pm
                         Tue July, 23rd, at the Tri Town location from 12pm-2pm
                         Tue, August, 6th, at the Red Hook location from 11am-1pm

Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino will be hosting ‘Senior Mobile Office Hours’ at Senior Friendship Centers throughout Dutchess County between July 18th and August 6th to allow for open dialogue between seniors and herself and provide immediate response to any questions or concerns they may have. The office hours are open to older adults who frequent these senior centers as well as other local seniors in the area who wish to attend. In celebration of July as National Ice Cream Month, ice-cream will be provided to those in attendance.

The office hours will be held on four dates in two-hour increments. The schedule includes:

  • Thursday, July 18th from 10am-2pm
    Poughkeepsie Friendship Center, 114 Delafield Street, Poughkeepsie.
  • Monday, July 22nd from 11am-1pm
    East Fishkill Friendship Center, 890 Rt. 82, Hopewell Junction.
  • Tuesday, July 23rd from 12pm-2pm
    Tri Town Friendship Center, 1576 Main Street (US 44), Pleasant Valley.
  • Tuesday, August 6th from 11am-1pm
    Red Hook Friendship Center, 59 Fisk Street, Red Hook

“After a lifetime of working, raising families, and contributing to our community, our seniors deserve our time and attention to ensure they are getting the resources they need.” said Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino. “I am looking forward to having the opportunity to speak with our older adults and learning more about the most important issues they are facing. It is also a great chance for local seniors who may not be available with our OFA Friendship Centers to check them out and learn more about the programs they offer.”

Reservations are not required.

Dutchess County has eight Senior Friendship Centers throughout Dutchess County where older adults can enjoy nutritious meals as well as take part in social activities and fellowship.
