Poughkeepsie, NY - The Dutchess County Department of Community and Family Services (DCFS) will conduct department-wide staff training on Thursday, September 24th. The department’s main Poughkeepsie office at 60 Market Street will be closed from 9 a.m. to noon; its Millbrook and Beacon offices will also be closed during the morning and open at 1 p.m.
Many services are available 24 hours a day online. Clients can complete Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) or public assistance recertifications, report changes, or view case details at mybenefits.ny.gov.
Additionally, DCFS applicants and recipients can access the NYDocSubmit mobile application, for free through their preferred app store, to take pictures of their documents and submit them to DCFS.
