The Dutchess County Department of Health invites residents of all ages to attend its fifth annual Y.O.U.R (Young, Old, Urban, Rural) Health Fair on Saturday, May 2, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Dutchess Community College’s Falcon Hall. This free, family friendly event brings together dozens of local organizations, health professionals and county agencies to promote wellness, prevention, and community connection. The event is free to the public, and there will be free shuttle service from the City of Poughkeepsie.
In its fifth year, the Dutchess County Health Fair has become a signature event for Dutchess County, offering residents an opportunity to explore a wide range of health resources in one accessible location. More than 70 exhibitors will be on hand to share information on physical and mental health, preventive care, nutrition, fitness, and community support services. Attendees can speak directly with healthcare providers, learn about insurance options, and discover programs available throughout the county.
Dutchess County Health Commissioner Dr. Livia Santiago-Rosado said, “The Health Fair offers residents a valuable opportunity to engage directly with the many health services and supports available in our area. By bringing together community partners, health care professionals, and families in one accessible setting, we aim to equip individuals with the knowledge and resources they need to make informed decisions about their well being. This event reflects our continued commitment to fostering a healthier, more connected community.”
Attendees can meet a wide range of service providers on topic areas, such as:
• Public health, tick-borne illness and lead prevention;

Dutchess County’s “Fit Dutchess” initiative will host an interactive photo booth, provide play mats for children, and share fresh local apples from a nearby orchard.
Throughout the event, there will be a variety of interactive opportunities at the exhibitor booths and on the performance stage. Some of these offerings include:
