POUGHKEEPSIE … The Dutchess County Department of Health (DOH), in partnership with Colgate’s “Bright Smiles, Bright Futures” program, will host a free Children’s Dental Health Event on Saturday, February 21, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Family Partnership Center, 29 N. Hamilton St. in Poughkeepsie, providing children ages 1–12 the opportunity to receive professional dental screenings and access educational resources promoting lifelong oral health. The event is open to all families; pre-registration is not required.
DOH Commissioner Dr. Livia Santiago-Rosado said, “Maintaining good oral health is a vital part of children’s overall health and development. We are proud to work with Colgate to host this family-friendly event that will bring essential dental services directly to our community, to help ensure every child has the opportunity for a healthy smile.”
Dental screenings will be conducted in Colgate’s Mobile Dental Van and will take approximately five minutes. Each child will receive a personalized dental report card and a Colgate oral care kit, including a toothbrush and toothpaste.
