Poughkeepsie… Dutchess County Parks continues its wide array of popular programming with a series of Park Palette painting workshops for adults this fall. Registration will open Tuesday, September 23rd at 9am online at www.DutchessNY.gov/ParksEducation.
Parks Director Brian Coons said, “Our Parks Naturalists continue to put together thoughtful and inspiring programs for all ages. We are excited to again invite adults to come explore the beauty of Bowdoin Park in the fall and create a piece of art to take home.”
The Park Palette Art Series for Adults will be held from 6-7:30pm at Bowdoin Park’s pavilion 5. These workshops are a step-by-step class to create nature-themed artwork. Cost is $12 and includes all supplies. Sessions are limited to 12 participants each. Session dates are as follows:
Other naturalist programming, including group weekday Archery, Junior Survival, Scout Programs and School Field Trips are available by appointment and reservations can be made by calling the Parks office at (845) 298-4602.
