following the confirmation of a warehouse property in Chester, NY purchased by
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for immigrant detention purposes:
“I oppose any effort to bring an ICE Detention Facility to the Hudson Valley. Doing so would undoubtedly have an adverse impact on the entire region. This proposal comes with more questions than answers, and I join my colleagues in local government on both sides of the aisle in opposing any such action.”
