Dutchess County Executive Sue Serino invites women from throughout Dutchess County to a special evening of empowerment, connection, and inspiration at her annual Women’s Networking Event on Thursday, July 17th from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum’s Henry A. Wallace Visitor and Education Center in Hyde Park. This free event is a chance for Dutchess County’s women to come together in support of one another’s personal and professional growth.
This year’s theme, “The Faces of Resilience,” celebrates the extraordinary strength and perseverance of women in Dutchess County who have overcome life’s challenges with courage and determination. The event will spotlight stories of resilience that remind all women of the power of persistence, community, and hope.
Guests will hear from three inspiring women whose journeys reflect this year’s theme: Karmen Smallwood, Dutchess County’s Assistant Commissioner for Youth Services; Britney Ettinger, Mental Health of America Dutchess County’s Program Director at Bolger House; and Epiphany Musabyemariya, a personal care assistant. In addition to being inspired by our speakers, you'll find this evening to be a true networking opportunity. Attendees will have the chance to meet other women in our community, exchange ideas, and make new connections.
Whether you're a student, professional, caregiver, entrepreneur or retiree, this event is for anyone who believes in the power of women supporting women.
This event is free, but space is limited; registration is required to attend and can be completed online at dutchessny.gov/womensevent or by calling 845-486-2000. Don’t miss this uplifting opportunity to be part of a community that celebrates resilience and connection.
We hope to see you there for an unforgettable evening!
