The Dutchess County Tick Task Force will hold its annual Tick Educational Event on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, from 6-8 pm utilizing the Zoom platform and will include informative presentations from the following top research professionals:

 

6:05 PM      DR. RICHARD HOROWITZ - Early Lyme/Acute COVID, Chronic Lyme/COVID Longhaulers: Similarities, Differences, and Potential Diagnostic and Treatment Approaches

6:20 PM      HOLLY AHERN, SUNY ADIRONDACK - Lyme Disease and Women's Health

6:40 PM      CHELLE HARTZER, BCE, US BIOLOGIC - National Wildlife Tick-Borne Disease Program

6:55 PM      SARAVANAN THANGAMANI, PhD - Tracking the Emergence of Ticks and Tick-Borne Diseases in New York

Following the presentations, the panel will answer questions from participants through a moderator.  Anyone wishing to join the event shall have an opportunity to ask questions live through a media platform called Zoom.  If you wish to join, please contact the Clerk of the Legislature at countylegislature@dutchessny.gov or by calling 845-486-2100 to obtain zoom information or call-in number.  Questions and comments will also be accepted via email prior to the event to the Clerk of the Legislature at countylegislature@dutchessny.gov
