What does the Health Department inspect at an Agricultural Fairground?

Public Health Sanitarians inspect aspects of an agricultural fairground including:

  • Required permits
  • Existence of public health hazards
  • Water supply
  • Food services
  • Campgrounds and/or temporary residences
  • Sewage
  • Fire safety
  • Surface drainage
  • Refuse and animal waste
  • Toilets and lavatories
  • Rabies prevention
  • Medical requirements
