Poughkeepsie… An additional Drowning Prevention Seminar is being offered on Monday, June 19th at 3pm at the Dutchess County Department of Behavioral & Community Health (DBCH), located at 85 Civic Center Plaza - Suite 106 in Poughkeepsie.
This presentation will offer guidance for supervising swimmers, identifying swimmers in distress, an informative video on drowning victim recognition and time to discuss lifeguard duties and responsibilities as they relate to DBCH regulations.
In addition to the June 19th seminar, a seminar will be held on Wednesday, June 21st at 9:15 AM at Camp Ramapo, located at 101 Anchorage Trail Road in Rhinebeck.
The final seminar of the season will be held on Thursday, June 22nd at 2:00 PM at Camp Young Judaea Sprout Lake, located at 6 Sprout Lake Camp Road in Lagrangeville.
